The Story: I am a teacher by training. I am a published poet. I've taught reading and literature for 13 years. Words bring me joy. My first foray into this world of art making on Instagram was to create monoprints on dictionary pages. I collect vintage dictionaries. The old pages, the organic development and evolution of language and communication gives me life.
The Process: Quite simply, I collaged two pieces of handprinted paper and liked the bright colors and patterns so much I decided not to keep painting. 💓💙 Imagine flowers instead of bubble wrap.
