Let’s face it: sometimes spoonies gonna spoon. We live with the reality that our bodyminds do not always cooperate with imposed schedules. We have something for that too: The Vault. Community, Core, and Supporting members can access recordings of workshops, swap zines in the library, and utilize other resources 24/7.

In the tradition of the Disability Rights Movement, Spoonie Studio™ is centered on the motto “nothing about us without us.” From the ground up, our resources are designed by and for the Spoonie community. While no one is required to disclose their diagnosis, everyone from our social media manager to our clinical advisor fits under the banner of disabled, chronically ill, and/or neurodivergent.

Community, Core, and Supporting members receive at least 8 touchpoints per month—2 credentialed professionals, 2-4 peer facilitators, 4+ evergreen Vault resources—creating a stepped-care model that's accessible 24/7. In this way, Spoonie Studio™ positions itself as the model for art as intervention: isolation reduction, nervous system regulation, burnout recovery by and for artists who are chronically ill, disabled, and neurodivergent.
