Are you ready to create rich, emotionally integrated abstract art without needing to niche down, or spend anxious hours staring at a blank (or half-finished!) canvas?

Elle & Wink Art Studio presents:

Spiritual Archaeology

Claiming Your Muchness Through Deep Creative Practice

with Elle Billing

I used to think I wasn't a "serious artist" because I couldn't stick to one medium or style. My art was too unfocused, too layered, too full of literary references and mixed materials. Then I realized: this beautiful chaos of complexity wasn't a weakness – this was my style. Through what I now call the Spiritual Archaeology of Abstract Art, I've developed a process that honors this complexity while transforming it into powerful, meaningful art.

What is Spiritual Archaeology?

It's an iterative art practice that:

  • Embraces creative muchness instead of trying to niche down or reduce it

  • Layers personal experiences with favorite artistic and media influences, without copying

  • Uses foundational art practices to express complex ideas

  • Excavates deeper truths about the Self and one’s place in the world

  • Creates art that celebrates rather than apologizes for its complexity

Think of it as digging down in your own archaeological dig site, where each layer you uncover reveals new wonders. No need to niche down; we're going to develop intention within our multitudes.

Who is Spiritual Archaeology For?

This intensive is perfect for you if:

  • You’re kind of “over it” when it comes to art workshops that only address technical skills

  • You’re tired of SMART goals

  • You believe the why is as important as the what you are creating

  • You've been told your art is "too much" (too busy, too deep, too complex)

  • You feel like you're only scratching the surface of your creative potential

  • You're drawn to mixing media, meanings, and metaphors

  • You want to develop a more intentional relationship with your creative complexity

  • You're tired of being told to "simplify" when your heart yearns to add just one more layer

  • You love the idea of combining personal narrative with broader cultural connections

  • You’ve ever thought “more is more!” or found the idea of being a dragon, goblin, or curatorial maximalist village witch compelling.

Even if you're doubting your creative abilities – especially then. We're embracing our muchness together.

What You'll Learn in the Studio Intensives:

Over 12 transformative workshops, you'll discover:

  • How to develop your personal symbolic language

  • Techniques for layering meaning into your work

  • Ways to combine different media effectively

  • Methods for translating your experiences into visual stories

  • Approaches to creating cohesive series that tell deeper stories

Your Investment Includes:

  • Live monthly workshops (and the recordings)

  • Detailed resource guides

  • Regular feedback opportunities

  • Tools to develop your unique creative approach

  • Access to ME, and my one-of-a-kind, how-did-they-do-that approach to creativity and artmaking

    • I am an AuDHD mixed media, multi-disciplinary artist who loves to love things. My special interest is you and what lights up your brain and your heart.

    • I have an associative memory that makes connections, sees patterns, and weaves stories where others see chaos. I can find the story in your muchness and help you uncover what your heart is trying to tell you.

    • I am not a coach. I am not a mentor. I am an art friend with a degree in education. I studied critical pedagogy, worked in special education, and I specialize in student-centered, strength-based teaching. My niche is working with people who are unconventionally brilliant, but under-resourced or misunderstood; I meet each student with curiosity, kindness, humor, and (often intense) love.

  • **Crip Time — I’m disabled and chronically ill. I don’t keep “regular” office hours because my bodymind sets my schedule. I can keep a one-hour weekly appointment pretty consistently, but I cannot predict an entire week’s worth of availability. So while other coaches may have regular Voxer or Telegram availability, I can only say this: we will have ongoing contact in between sessions, and you can expect me to respond within 24 hours in most cases. If I am really really sick, I will let you know, and then I will return your message when I have the capacity to give you my attention. As my client, you get the same grace I need to extend to myself, so while I am a pretty intense person when we work together, I am also gentle about time and capacity.
