“Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” is a 6x6 gouache and watercolor on paper, painted for the Squareathon Great Books Instagram challenge in September 2020.
Bird Girl is a sculpture made in 1936 by Sylvia Shaw Judson. The sculpture sat in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, where it was photographed by Jack Leigh for the cover of the novel. It has since been moved to an indoor location for preservation.
Because this painting has been sitting in the studio since 2020*, it is listed at a reduced price compared to newer work. All rights reserved by the artist.
