When I was in Kindergarten or first grade, our teacher took us on a chase through the entire school, reading clues left by the elusive Gingerbread Man. I have never successfully baked a gingerbread person cookie, but I am a champ at baking spritz cookies for the holidays. Spritz cookies with as much food coloring and as many spronkles as possible. Technicolor spritz cookies.
These ornaments are designed after the basic gingerbread person cookie shape, but in the spirit of our family’s maxed-out spritz cookies. I added a lot of glitter because glitter!
But wait there’s more!!! Each ornament is two ornaments in one!! You can keep both pieces, or you can divide them like 1990s-style friendship necklaces. It’s up to you.
Five dollars from each ornament sale will be paid forward to local mutual aid that assists folks living with food insecurity. You can add an extra donation when you check out, and that will go directly to the mutual aid fund.
